  • You can book by calling 01202 900609. If it is your first time using Seafield Medical, we will take some details from you to register you, and then find a convenient time for Dr Snell to visit you.

  • An up-to-date list of our fees can be found here and are also available on request by calling 01202 900609.

  • Payment card details are taken when you register with us and book your first appointment. We accept all major debit and credit cards, including American Express. Fees are charged on a pay-as-you-go basis and payments are debited from your payment card directly after each appointment automatically. We will send you a copy of your invoice, marked as paid, within two working days of your appointment.

    We do not accept cheques, cash, or bank transfers.

  • Private prescriptions can be provided by the doctor at the time of your visit. Prescriptions issued during telephone or video consultations can be received electronically by a range of local pharmacies. We also work with Pharmacierge, who can deliver privately prescribed medications directly to your door.

  • Yes. Your NHS GP surgery will be best placed to provide certain healthcare services for you, for example, those relating to national screening or immunisation programmes. With your consent, we will be happy to share copies of Seafield Medical consultation summaries with your NHS GP on your behalf, so they are kept up-to-date with any care you are receiving from us.

  • Anyone aged 18 or over can book an appointment with Seafield Medical. Children and young people under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian.

  • Seafield Medical is a GP home visiting and telephone / video consultation service only; we do not have any clinical premises.

    However, Dr Snell has appointments at a private clinic run by The Harbour Hospital in Poole. You can make an appointment by calling 01202 090372.

  • We do not use locums to cover any absences. This allows us to guarantee complete continuity of care with Dr Snell and ensure the highest quality service. Urgent care is provided by the usual NHS services (111 & 999 etc). Any patients that Dr Snell is seeing actively will be notified prior to planned annual leave. We also add a notification to our website, and alter our telephone greeting and email auto-reply to inform callers and email enquirers that the office is closed. We include the date that the office will re-open. There is a secure answerphone service which can be used to leave a message, you will be contacted as soon as possible when the office re-opens.
