We are a local family business run by partners Dr Jonathan Snell and Rosie Green.
After many years’ experience of working within the NHS, we set up Seafield Medical together in 2021 to offer the kind of care and attention that patients really value, all in the comfort of their own homes.
We believe in the benefits of unhurried appointments, a strong doctor-patient relationship, and excellent customer service.
The team
Dr Jonathan Snell, Clinical Partner
MBChB MRCP MRCGP
Dr Snell is Seafield Medical’s sole GP meaning that continuity of care is completely guaranteed. He passionately believes in the value of patients having enough time to be listened to, of receiving clear explanations and advice, and of feeling cared for.
Dr Snell qualified from University of Birmingham and completed postgraduate training in hospital medicine in Bath, followed by general practice in Dorset. He has extensive experience as a local NHS GP in the Bournemouth and Poole area and has a special interest in complex adult medicine.
Rosie Green, Managing Partner
BSc MSc
Rosie handles all bookings and queries personally, providing complete administrative continuity for our patients. She is also responsible for all non-clinical managerial aspects of Seafield Medical.
Rosie began her career in health service management in 2006, having worked primarily within the NHS, including several years managing an NHS GP surgery in Poole. She has also had management roles in the private health sector and has worked for health organisations abroad including the World Health Organization in Geneva.
